Preparing for a renovation or move, whether cross-country or local, takes an immense amount of planning. By the time the boxes are needing to be packed up, we’ve often lost steam. So why not enlist support?

By having The Baer Minimalist as part of your team, you will have confidence knowing that everything will have a (labeled) place from the very start. We can plug into your move or renovation process in the following ways:

  • Pre-Move or Pre-Renovation Editing Sessions: Our team will help ensure that you don’t pack years’ worth of items that you no longer need, use or love. With our Donation Guide in hand, you can feel good knowing that items are going to incredible local organizations whose biggest needs are the things that no longer serve you. We will take care of transporting one carload of donations with each session.

  • Packing for a Renovation: While we don’t pack full homes, we love packing for an upcoming renovation. We will source all packing supplies and ensure that boxes are labeled for a seamless unpacking process (generally with your blueprints in hand). And when your renovated space is ready to be unpacked and organized…as you might suspect, we can help with that too.

  • Move-In Support: Whether full service or just key spaces, our team can be on-site from the time the movers arrive. We will ensure all rooms are labeled, that boxes go to their long-term home and things are unpacked with intention and care. As each box is unpacked, new organizational systems will unfold and we will ensure that your new home is setup for long-term success.

  • Custom Drawer + Shelf Liners: Our custom cut drawer + shelf liners are the perfect fit...every time. No waste, no cutting, just drop them into place and know that your cabinetry is protected for years to come. Our team will measure your drawers and shelves in advance of your move (when possible) and have custom mats on-hand to place into your space before a single box is unpacked.

  • Product Enhancement: Once boxes have been unpacked and we are all in agreement about where items are housed, our team will plan out any products needed to enhance or maximize the organizational systems in your new home. All products will be reviewed and a product implementation session will be scheduled. Our custom labels are complimentary whether we incorporate new product or use items you’ve had on hand for years.

  • Other Add-Ons: If you need linens or dishes washed, your pantry stocked, recycling hauled away - we are at your service. Our entire goal is to ensure that you can be as hands off (or as hands on) as you’d like.

Luxury Liners: Our custom cut drawer + shelf liners are the perfect fit...every time. We offer measuring appointments as a one-off service and can have the mats shipped directly to your door. Of course, we can also implement them into your space and organize while we are at it.
